I hope you get a song stuck in your head after this post

What's new pussycat?

Augh, I so didn't know I was supposed to post yesterday. I don't know why I thought that, but I did.

I just woke up, so I'm still a little out of it. Or rather entirely out of it. We had a football game yesterday, and normally we leave after half time, and if we had left after half time I don't think I would have had a meltdown last night that just was not good. But I'm not gonna get into that here.

Homecoming week has been crazy. My friend Matt got nominated for king, when he didn't really care nor necessarily want it. In fact, he won superhero day on thursday (He was Raphael the teenage mutant ninja turtle =]), and was really annoyed because he had to wear something nice instead for the pep rally yesterday. And then he won king xD

Side bar about pep rallies. They are just creepy. I mean, really creepy. I don't know why it never occurred to me before, but it makes total sense now. And I was completely creeped out. Although, luckily I was sitting by Hope for it, and she, while not having the exact same opinion, did agree with me to an extent.

I had three tests this week. My physics test, I got all the questions right, including the level four questions (to get an A, you need to get threes on everything, to get an A+ you need to try and get right at least one of the level fours. I got all four of the level fours right). Then we had a math test. And the kids in my math class I think are encouraged far to much to use their calculators. So of course, for my test, I ended up getting all of the noncalculator right, and two of the calculator wrong, but then got the extra credit noncalculator. And then, we had a history test friday, and for that test I memorized the following during to of my classes before it that day:

Anne of Aargon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Harding, Catherine Parr.

Bohemien Phase (C v. P, C win), Danish Phase (C v. P, C win), Swedish Phase (C v. P, P win), French Phase (French stop secretly supporting the Protestants, and openly join, despite being catholic, C win).

1517, 95 Theses
1521, Diet of Worms
1555, Peace of Augsburg
1545-1563, Council of Trent
1533, Act in Restraint
1534, Supremacy Act
1598, Declaration of Nantes
1518, Defenestration of Prague
1548, Peace of Westphalia
1518-1538, 30 years war.

So I already knew a lot of other stuff too, but I was so amazed that I managed to not only memorize all of those dates and other things, but for it to stick is amazing. The test ended up being so much easier than last time, and I really think I have a chance of getting a 5 this year!

Side Bar: We had to write 4 FRQs, and most of the sophomores finally learned that AP stands for Advance Procrastination, but they were all complaining about how much their hands hurt, and I was like, seriously? I wrote all four in a row, and my hands don't hurt at all. Glad we took US last year =)

And finally, I still have to get a bag or something to go with my dress, so I think my mom and I are just gonna go to Kohls since it's down the road. I totally wish we were going to our first homecomings together. It just doesn't seem particularly right, you know?

And there will be a picture of the dress and shoes tomorrow, I promise.

From, your love
Tom Jones

PS: I expect you to be able to know right away who those women were. At least one should have been recognizable.

Jess, were you trying to name Henry VIII's wives or something with the whole :
Anne of Aargon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Harding, Catherine Parr.
thing?
Cause that would be wrong, if so.
